Dr. Philip Mamolito has been providing compassionate dental care in the Berkshires for over 40 years. Originally from Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, he earned his undergraduate degree at Washington and Jefferson College and his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. His passion for dentistry began in eighth grade and has guided his career ever since.

After graduating near the top of his class, Dr. Mamolito completed a dental residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he gained valuable experience and met his wife. He began his career as an associate in Williamstown before moving to Pittsfield to establish his own practice. In 2025, he sold his practice to Dr. Michael Mohr, ensuring his patients would continue to receive excellent, personalized care.

Dr. Mamolito believes in lifelong learning and holds a Fellowship in General Dentistry from the Academy of General Dentistry. He has completed advanced programs at the Pankey Institute, Boston Seminars in Implant Dentistry, the Spear Institute, and in periodontal prosthesis with Dr. Ron Nevins. He is also active in a dental study club, keeping his skills current and providing the highest level of care.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Mamolito enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, and playing golf and platform tennis. He and his wife have two daughters and three grandchildren, and they enjoy spending time with family and friends in the community.
